Reiki 1 is designed for curious humans like you, who’d like to:

Level 1 is a practitioner’s initiation into reiki and is open to anyone. The focus during Level 1 is on opening the energy channels on a physical level, allowing the practitioner to connect to the universal life force energy, which flows from the cosmos through the hands and body.  Enjoy a deeper peace and self-acceptance in day-to-day life. Amplify your body’s natural ability to heal itself.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive

Like many people around the world, we have been taught the lesson “To Give is Better To Receive” and so we could be operating our lives from this lesson, learned very early in life.
This type of deep belief can bring about habits of overgiving, and overproviding for others, which can leave one with not much left for themselves, and not easy to receive from others.

What’s this have to do with boundaries.   In my work, lack of boundaries for yourself, can be linked with habits of overgiving – loving others much more than we love ourselves.
This workshop gently dives to the places in ourselves where we hold ourselves back from receiving. We’ll open up the doors and remove limiting beliefs preventing you from setting and holding benevolent boundaries for you to start living life feeding yourself.

What are healthy boundaries?
Healthy boundaries are not something you can see or touch.  They are felt.  They are the edges of where you are prepared to place your time / money / energy / kindness.   This is the place where you give your help for others, where it serves you and enlivens you.   You’ll learn how to identify where this place in within yourself, and know what to do when you come to it – so that you discontinue leaping over them, and keep ‘saving’ / helping others at your own expense.

PS — Here’s a little secret.    When you begin to honour your boundaries; others actually love, respect and honour you more (plus they have greater chance to love, respect and honour themselves too)
